"Back To Basics" di Christina AguileraSensualità e maturità: le anime di Christinadi Gianluca Capaldo Mentre Britney e Gwen sono impegnate con i rispettivi “marmocchi”, l’eccentrica biondina del pop non perde tempo e sforna un album, anzi due, dove racchiude tutta la sua potenza vocale, i suoi gusti musicali che vanno dal jazz al funk, dal hip hop al soul.
“Back To Basics”, terzo album della cantante, arriva ad agosto sugli scaffali dei music store suscitando un ottimo riscontro di pubblico e critica. Il progetto viene presentato ai fan con il primo singolo “Ain’t No Other Man”, dove vediamo la “diva” stretta in bustini anni ‘50 in puro gangster style, con capelli biondissimi alla Monroe, il tutto impreziosito da ammiccamenti e movenze super sexy. Il ritmo incalzante e la poderosa voce dell’Aguilera ci hanno messo poco a far breccia nei cuori degli ascoltatori, nei dj-set dei club europei e delle tv musicali. La sensazione che si ha ascoltando entrambi i cd (perché ricordiamolo, siamo di fronte ad un doppio cd dove vecchio e nuovo si penetrano a vicenda dando dei buoni e inaspettati risultati), è che questa ormai non più ragazzina, ma donna matura, consapevole delle sue potenzialità, della sua sensualità e del suo stile personale, riesce a non rimanere incastrata e imprigionata nelle definizioni che la critica e che i fan più esigenti vogliono darle. Ciò che sorprende, oltre ad alcune eccellenti interpretazioni (“Oh Mother”, “F.U.S.S.” e naturalmente “Ain’t No Other Man”) e alcune libertà ludiche sulla propria carriera (il seguito di “Dirrty”, la canzone “Still Dirrty”, e il brano “Thank You”, con campionamenti del singolo “Genie In A Bottle”), sono gli affascinanti vocalismi vecchia scuola presenti soprattutto nella seconda parte del lavoro. L’Aguilera non teme il ritorno ad una musica che richiama i suoni disturbati delle radio e dei grammofoni da luna park, che richiamano atmosfere quasi circensi (“Enter the Circus”) o dei vecchi show delle prime trasmissioni radiotelevisive (“Welcome”). Emozionante la malinconica canzone “Hurt”. Divertenti i brani “Candyman”, che ci immerge in quei cinematografici night americani tutto “jazz ed alcol”, e “I Got Trouble” (presente nella conclusione del video del primo singolo) dove è impossibile resistere all’immaginazione: Christina dolce, sexy, retro, che si rotola su un vecchio pianoforte. Quel piano, quelle trombe e quei violini da dove provengono sonorità mai barocche, sempre dosate e che non strafanno, danno spazio alla voce, quel fantastico strumento dell’Aguilera che viaggia tra sensualità e maturità dominando ogni canzone.
